Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 watching over you 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
