It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
