The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
