The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
