۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
