Say thou: go about in the earth and then see what wise hath been the end of the beliers. 11 Say, “To Whom does all whatever is in the heavens and the earth, belong?” Proclaim, “To Allah”; He has made mercy obligatory upon His grace; undoubtedly, He will surely gather you all together on the Day of Resurrection in which there is no doubt; those who put their souls to ruin, do not accept faith. 12 ۞ And to Him belongs whatsoever inhabits the night and the day; and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing.' 13 Say: 'Should I take any but Allah for a guardian? He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. He feeds and is not fed' Say: 'I was commanded to be the first to submit to Him' Do not be one of the idolaters. 14 Say: 'Surely do I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of an awesome Day. 15 "On that day, if the penalty is averted from any, it is due to Allah's mercy; And that would be (Salvation), the obvious fulfilment of all desire. 16 If Allah touch thee with hurt there is no reverser thereof but He, and if He touch thee with good, then He is over everything Potent. 17 He is the Omnipotent over His slaves, and He is the Wise, the Knower. 18 Ask them: 'Whose testimony is the greatest?' Say: 'Allah is the witness between me and you; and this Qur'an was revealed to me that I should warn you thereby and also whomsoever it may reach.' Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with Allah? Say: 'I shall never testify such a thing.' Say: 'He is the One God and I am altogether averse to all that you associate with Him in His divinity.' 19 Those whom We have given the Book will recognize this just as they recognize their own ofspring; but those who have courted their own ruin will not believe. 20
