Your Lord is only One. The hearts of those who do not believe in the life hereafter dislike (the truth). They are puffed up with pride. 22 Surely Allah knows all that they conceal and all that they disclose. He certainly does not love those who are steeped in arrogance. 23 And when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?" They say, "Legends of the former peoples," 24 That they may bear their burdens entirely on the day of resurrection and also of the burdens of those whom they lead astray without knowledge; now surely evil is what they bear. 25
