۞ Hast thou not seen those who gave the grace of Allah in exchange for thanklessness and led their people down to the Abode of Loss, 28 [It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement. 29 And they set up (idols) as equal to Allah, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily ye are making straightway for Hell!" 30 [And] tell [those of] My servants who have attained to faith that they should be constant in prayer and spend [in Our way,] secretly and openly, out of what We provide for them as sustenance, ere there come a Day when there will be no bargaining, and no mutual befriending. 31 Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth, and causeth water to descend from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you, and maketh the ships to be of service unto you, that they may run upon the sea at His command, and hath made of service unto you the rivers; 32 And He hath subjected for you the sun and the moon, two constant toils; and He hath subjected for you the night and the day. 33 and Who gave you all that you asked Him for. Were you to count the favours of Allah you shall never be able to encompass them. Verily man is highly unjust, exceedingly ungrateful. 34
