And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
