Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
