And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
