The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
