The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 "So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do." 188 But they denied him, and We seized them with the torment of the Day of Shadowing (when the cloud had rained down fire). It was indeed the torment of a terrible day! 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
