The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
