۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
