And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
