The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
