We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
