Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
