We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
