Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
