Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
