Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. With Us is a Record that preserves everything. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
