Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 Thamud, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
