Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And one part of him will say: "This it is that has been ever-present with me!" 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His comrade saith: Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he was (himself) far gone in error. 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
