AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
