[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
