Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
