Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
