Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 With spreading branches; 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 green, green pastures -- 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78
