We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
