Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
