▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
