Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
