Al-Suff 2 of 2
O ye who believe! Shall I show you a commerce that will save you from a painful doom? 10 You shall believe in God and His Messenger, and struggle in the way of God with your possessions and your selves. That is better for you, did you but know. 11 He will forgive you your sins, and make you enter Gardens whereunder rivers flow, and happy abodes in Gardens Everlasting. That is the mighty achievement. 12 and other things you love, help from God and a nigh victory. Give thou good tidings to the believers! 13 O ye who believe! Be Allah's helpers, even as Jesus son of Mary said unto the disciples: Who are my helpers for Allah? They said: We are Allah's helpers. And a party of the Children of Israel believed, while a party disbelieved. Then We strengthened those who believed against their foe, and they became the uppermost. 14
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Column (Al-Suff). Sent down in Medina after Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun) before Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
