Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 separating one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
