Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
