Do you not see how those who dispute God's signs, are turned away from the right path -- 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 when they shall have to carry the shackles and chains [of their own making] around their necks, 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 They will then be asked: "Where are they you took as partners 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter the gates of hell to live therein forever. How terrible is the dwelling of the arrogant ones. 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
