Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
