The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
