The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it, 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
