The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
