The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
