The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
