The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
