Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Verily along with every hardship is ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
