The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
