۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
