Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
