The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
